1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Recurio ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
Recurio is a mobile application for managing recurring home maintenance tasks. The App helps you:
- Create and manage recurring maintenance reminders
- Log completion records with notes, costs, and photos
- Organize tasks by household devices/areas (assets)
- View maintenance history on a timeline
- Optionally sync data to your personal Google Drive
3. User Accounts
- No account required. The App works fully offline without any account.
- Optional Google Sign-in. You may sign in with Google solely to enable Google Drive backup and sync. We do not create a separate user account.
4. User Data and Privacy
- Local-first. All your data (tasks, logs, assets, settings) is stored locally on your device using SQLite.
- Google Drive sync. If enabled, data is synced to your personal Google Drive. You own and control this data.
- No server storage. We do not store your personal data on any server.

5. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Use the App only for its intended purpose (home maintenance management)
- Not reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the App
- Not use the App in any way that violates applicable laws
- Maintain the security of your device and Google account if sync is enabled
6. Intellectual Property
- The App, including its design, code, icons, illustrations, and content, is the intellectual property of the developer.
- Pre-built maintenance templates are provided for personal use only.
- User-generated content (task names, notes, photos) remains your property.
7. Notifications
- The App uses local notifications to remind you of upcoming maintenance tasks.
- Notification permissions are requested during onboarding and can be managed in your device settings at any time.
- We do not send marketing or promotional notifications.
8. Third-Party Services
The App integrates with the following third-party services:

9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that:
- The App will be error-free or uninterrupted
- Notifications will always be delivered on time (device OS may restrict background activity)
- Data synced to Google Drive will always be available
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to:
- Missed maintenance reminders
- Data loss due to device failure or sync issues
- Any damage to property resulting from delayed maintenance
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. Your local data will be removed upon uninstallation. Data stored on Google Drive will remain until you delete it manually.
