1. Introduction

Made By Bang ("we", "us", "our") operates the Orburst mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our App.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. Orburst is designed with a privacy-first approach — we collect minimal data, store everything locally on your device, and give you full control over what is shared.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information Stored Locally on Your Device

All game data is stored exclusively on your device using local storage. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us. It includes:

  • Game progress (scores, rings cleared, streaks)
  • Settings preferences (sound, music, haptics, layout)
  • Daily challenge history and streak count
  • Quest progress and rewards
  • Unlocked themes and achievements
  • In-app purchase status

We do not have access to this data. It remains on your device and is deleted when you uninstall the App.

2.2 Analytics Data (With Your Consent)

If you grant consent, we collect anonymous usage data through Google Firebase Analytics to help us improve the game experience. This includes:

  • Game events (game started, game over, ring cleared, daily challenge completed)
  • Gameplay metrics (scores, duration, streaks)
  • Share actions (share tapped, share result)
  • In-app purchase events (product ID only)

This data is anonymous — it is not linked to your identity and cannot be used to identify you personally.

2.3 Crash Reports (With Your Consent)

If you grant consent, we use Google Firebase Crashlytics to collect crash and error reports. This helps us identify and fix bugs. Crash reports may include:

  • Device model and operating system version
  • App version
  • Stack traces and error logs

Crash data is anonymous and is used solely for improving App stability.

2.4 Advertising Data (With Your Consent)

If you grant consent, the App displays ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect:

  • Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks)
  • Device advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, only if you authorize tracking via the App Tracking Transparency prompt)

Ad Personalization:

  • If you authorize tracking (iOS): You may see personalized ads based on your interests.
  • If you deny tracking or skip the prompt: You will see non-personalized, contextual ads only.
  • If you purchase "Remove Ads": No ads are displayed and no advertising data is collected.

3. Information We Do NOT Collect

We want to be clear about what we never collect:

  • Names, email addresses, or contact information
  • Location data
  • Photos, camera, or microphone access
  • Health or fitness data
  • Browsing history
  • Payment information (handled entirely by Apple App Store or Google Play Store)
  • Device identifiers for our own tracking purposes

4. Children's Privacy (COPPA & GDPR-K)

Orburst includes an age verification screen on first launch. We take children's privacy seriously:

  • Users under 16: No ads are displayed, no analytics data is collected, and no tracking occurs. The game is fully playable without any data collection.
  • Users 16 and older: May grant or deny consent for ads and analytics independently.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (COPPA) or under 16 (GDPR-K). If we learn that we have inadvertently collected data from a child, we will delete it promptly.

5. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services, each subject to their own privacy policies:

6. In-App Purchases

Orburst offers optional in-app purchases:

  • Remove Ads (one-time purchase): Removes all ads permanently.
  • Coin Pack (consumable): Adds in-game currency.

All payment processing is handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment information, credit card details, or billing address.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. Data is shared only with:

  • Google Firebase (analytics and crash data, with your consent)
  • Google AdMob (advertising data, with your consent)
  • Apple/Google (in-app purchase transactions)

The share feature in the App allows you to voluntarily share your game scores as an image or text through your device's native share sheet. We do not control or have access to how or where you share this content.

8. Your Choices and Controls

You have full control over your data:

  • Consent: You can grant or deny consent for ads and analytics on first launch. Denying consent does not affect gameplay.
  • App Tracking Transparency (iOS): You control whether ads are personalized via the iOS tracking prompt. You can change this anytime in your device's Settings → Privacy → Tracking.
  • Remove Ads: Purchase "Remove Ads" to permanently disable all advertising and related data collection.
  • Delete Data: Uninstalling the App removes all locally stored data permanently. There is no cloud backup.
  • Reset Data: Use the in-app Settings to reset your game progress.

9. Data Retention

  • Local data: Retained on your device until you uninstall the App or reset your data.
  • Analytics data: Retained by Google Firebase according to their data retention policies (default: 14 months for event data).
  • Crash reports: Retained by Google Firebase Crashlytics for 90 days.
  • Ad data: Retained by Google AdMob according to their retention policies.

10. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect information:

  • All game data is stored locally on your device in an app-sandboxed directory.
  • On modern iOS devices, local app data is encrypted at rest.
  • Communication with Firebase and AdMob uses encrypted (HTTPS) connections.
  • We do not operate any custom servers — there is no server-side data to breach.

11. International Users

The App is available worldwide. If you are located outside of Vietnam, please be aware that data processed by Google Firebase and AdMob may be transferred to and processed in the United States or other countries where Google operates. Google's privacy policies govern these transfers.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by an updated "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.

For significant changes, we will notify users through the App or its store listing.
