Terms of Service — Lumo

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Lumo mobile application ("the App"), developed and operated by Made By Bang ("we", "us"). By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on devices you own or control, solely for personal, non-commercial use.

You may not:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Modify, adapt, or create derivative works
  • Distribute, sell, lease, or sublicense the App
  • Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose

2. In-App Purchases

The App offers a one-time non-consumable in-app purchase ("Remove Ads") priced at $3.99 USD or local equivalent.

  • All purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play
  • Purchases are tied to your Apple ID or Google account
  • We do not store payment-card information
  • Refund requests must be directed to Apple or Google per their respective refund policies
  • The Remove Ads purchase is non-consumable and persists across device restores when signed in with the same store account

3. Intellectual Property

The App — including its design, code, audio, puzzle data, and branding (the "Lumo" name and logo) — is the property of Made By Bang and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

You retain no rights to the App's content beyond the personal use license granted in Section 1.

4. User-Generated Content

The App does not collect, host, or transmit user-generated content. Daily challenge results shared via the App's share feature are generated locally on your device and shared through your device's native share sheet at your discretion.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:

  • The App will function uninterrupted or error-free
  • Defects will be corrected
  • The App is free from viruses or harmful components
  • Your use of the App will meet your specific expectations

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App, including but not limited to lost time, lost data, or device damage.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or $3.99, whichever is greater.

7. Changes to the App and These Terms

We may update the App and these Terms at any time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

If you disagree with the updated Terms, you may stop using the App and uninstall it from your device.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.

Termination does not entitle you to a refund of any in-app purchases.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved in the courts of Hanoi, Vietnam.

If you reside in a jurisdiction with mandatory consumer protection laws, those laws still apply where they grant you greater rights than these Terms.

10. Privacy

Your privacy is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms.
